Let's get together and feel alright

Sascha Frangelli of Sascha’s Designs has put out three fabulous dresses all for only 60 lindens this weekend but you have to hurry to get them before she picks up Monday morning. I decided on the sexy casual mesh Dora Choco Dress to match up with a pair of the special featured Tamara High Heels Leather Boots that Miamai is offering at L’accessoires this cycle.

Let's get together and feel alright

It was an easy choice to toss on this very stylish knit Ariadna Beret from B&W Hats, the Chestnut is such a perfect hue to tie together with the addition of the amazing FZaPP stand alone mesh belt. One Love, One Heart All came together and I feel alright!!!

Derby Day

We can always count on Nando Korobase to capture the moment with the most feminine details in the exquisite designs from Angel Dessous. I have mentioned the exciting Black Box event here before.  But, for a reminder, each Wednesday Angel Dessous offers a surprise “Black Box” for a mere $69L. One never knows what will be inside; either a fresh new dress or a set of Angel’s divine lingerie. I unwrapped this Sonata dress from a recent Black Box and was delighted to find it matched one of my new hats – the Lady Maia – from Hatpins.
I am excited for the chance to look fabulous among those watching the 137th running of the Preakness this weekend. I am glad i waited to wear the Sonata this weekend, it might have been a bit scandalous if i had worn it Derby Day to Churchill Downs, i think it will fit in well with the beltway crowd and Baltimore society. Oh, and lest i forget, Fay’s Shoes Krystal shoes are just the perfect finishing touch!

Into the woods

Far from the madding crowd of the track we escape to the tranquil shadows of Chakryn Forest for a look at one of the latest designs from Angel Dessous. Available in a variety of colors in the animal print,  the new Masala dress is truly a marvelous look. From the asymmetric hem to the delicate strap and bodice detail the Masala is both eye-catching and a perfect delight to wear. You’ll find the bonus beaded jewelry set included with your new dress for a complete look!

Angel’s Black Box Secret

The Angel D. Surprise! *

Each Wednesday Angel Dessous offers a very special ensemble to their group members for a mere $69L! The fun part is that the ensemble is offered as a Black Box with unknown surprise contents. I always race home to open the Box and sometimes discover, as in this weeks Box, a lovely gown complete with hat and gloves, or sometimes a special day dress and sometimes one of Angel Dessous’ incredible lingerie ensembles. I have been buying these boxes since the start of the tradition and each surprise has been very special. The deep rich color of the Madeleine Gown and the detailed floral and lace trim work are typical of the exquisite styling in Angel Dessous offerings. It is always refreshing to discover designers who believes it is important to showcase their best efforts in their group gifts and specials. Thank you Nando and Gina!

Holidays Around the World by NightMagic (Part 1 – Out of Africa)

Just before the frenzy of the Holidays i was invited to participate in an important event on the SL fashion scene. NightMagic Productions, a new runway production company started by Marcus and Jasmine Night and Katina Magic presented “Holidays Around the World”, a show conceived and developed by dancer Dallagio of Stiletto Moody and a top 10 finalist in Miss Virtual World 2010. The concept show brought together the fashion vision of some of SL’s greatest international designers and premiered to a resounding cheer from the SL fashion community.

I will present the continental diversity i styled to showcase in NightMagic Productions “Holidays Around the World” in three posts here is Part 1 “Out of Africa”…
The inspiration for this outfit is the amazing NABILA gown from Angel Dessous. The feline sensuality of the design is strongly reinforced by the tiger texture, with an dramatic formal finish at the feathered hem. The freckled skin Embrace Mocha from Cupcakes adds to the Nubian mystique. Accessorized with the NABILA gold and natural pattern jewelry also from Angel Dessous and the perfectly braided hairstyle Rocca Chocolate from Tukinowaguma, to complete the natural yet, elegant look from the mysterious dark continent. Shoes are the GF Figure Pumps from G Field, prim nails by MANDALA and Ruby Arch lashes from Avion

Symphony in Blue

Client - Sequoia Nightfire Symphony in Blue, close

Yesterday was graduation day…some of you may be aware i am a models instructor for Mimmi Boa Modeling Academy which is under the roof of EVANE Model Agency. I tell you this because i am blessed with being able to wear some of the grandest designs as i present my students for graduation. Sunday on RODEO DRIVE was no exception! The theme chosen by my class was CHRYSALLIS and this day they would rise from their cocoons and fly on figurative new wings and i would join them.

One of my favorites to call upon to sponsor our graduations is Angel Dessous. Nando and Gina are the most gracious people and have such a wide array of styles to choose from we never exhaust their enormous inventory. The Couture is Haute and the lingerie is Hawter!!!

For this show they selected the Symphony Blue for me to wear. From the sleeveless sweetheart cut top to the luxurious gathered silk taffeta petal skirt this dress is exquisitely styled. Delicate floral accents with diamond inlays run across the top cascading down the bodice and along the skirt to meet the fine tulle dotted pattern overlay. Symphony Blue is a fully orchestrated masterpiece.

I definitely wanted a bold look for this and the tattoo layer makeups from Lovely Mi by LovelyMiwako7399 Menna were my first choice and Butterfly Blue Full seemed perfect for the theme. N-Core Soul shoes were an easy choice. Tukiowaguma hair is always a good option but i thought the lightgold Sinter was especially suitable. Donna Flora’s Madera brought all elements from the makeup to the tulle skirt to floral and inlaid ruffles and the pattern gathers all together into one complete look. ~ seq
