Spring is definitely in the air and all of our favorite designers are anticipating the season’s colours with special offerings. Yula Finesmith brings us the colours of Spring with a floral inspired Ensemble Called Kotar. And yes, those are the Rave Nails, also from Finesmith Jewelry! My gown is the latest release from Paris Metro Couture, a delicate floral, appropriately named Etre en Fleurs. You will find it in a variety of impossible to resist colours — perfect for that first spring affair.
Continuing the spring floral inspiration, Rose rfb Morpork brings us this luscious floating gown called “Daddie’s Flowers” from Paris Metro Couture. I knew that I had to shoot this in the dreamy environment of Alirium. The matching Princess of the Forest Jewelry Ensemble, was one of the wonderful colour-change sets offered by Lazuri Jewelry during the recent Fashion for Life event.

I just had to choose this Emerald Arun Gown from among the spectrum of spring-like hues from Paris Metro Couture and add the LaSchiava Jewelry Ensemble just released by E-Clipse from the current round of offerings from L’Accessoires. And where better to shoot this combination than the Emerald City at Oz? This is a must visit sim. It is fully executed in mesh and has some of the most creative vistas!

Augusta Creations has just released a delightful bevy of gowns and cocktail dresses to tantalize us during the chilly months of winter. I was thrilled to find Augusta’s lovely gift of the Iole Gown, in seasonal red, just in time for a recent holiday gathering. And speaking of lovely gifts, Belle also filled our stockings with some very special jewelry ensembles during her 12 Days of Christmas event at Chop Zuey. I am wearing a few of the “days” here — the “Joy Abound” ensemble includes earrings, bracelets and necklace pieces.

There are so many choices at Augusta Creations! You are sure to find just the right dress for that special event. And, with so many holiday events you will want to pick up more than one, right? I couldn’t wait to get to the club in my new Ilde Cocktail Dress and celebrated with a bit of dancing among the snowflakes at the studio! MiaMai’s new Lily shoes – recently released through L’Accessoires – were a perfect match for this lovely gown and tosy Xue’s latest release, the “Ice Queen” ensemble from WTG Jewelry, completes the look from every angle.

One of the intriguing new offerings from the current L’Accessoires Collection is the Carina headpiece from SoliDea Folies. It is available in a variety of colours and I was particularly attracted to the flowing feathers. What better way to showcase such an original design than with Rogan Diesel’s latest pose prop — the Nighingale’s Sorrow, from DieselWorks. Two of the 15 great poses which are included with the prop are shown here. There is also a Nightingale’s Glee version of the cage prop in gold, which has sixteen poses which would have our l’il bird singing for joy again! Superb designs continue to flow from Rose’s creative studio at Paris Metro Couture — more than I can keep up with at the moment! But I especially wanted to share one of my favorites; the Elegant Long Sweater Dress. This has to be one of the best mesh designs I have found lately. Whether you are curled up by the fireplace, or strolling through your favorite mall, this NEW dress delightfully accents your every curve, and will keep you warm and cozy as those December winds begin to blow. O, and be sure to visit Chop Zuey while you are working your way through your Christmas shopping list. Belle has released some most lovely new sets, which will make great gifts, or perhaps additions to your own jewelry collection. I am wearing her Black Storm ensemble which includes both member and hunt gifts.

The rich tone-on-tone fabric, and choice of three different skirt configurations – from a completely dance-manageable, all the way to the grand flowing version shown here, ensure this stunning creation will be a standout to be worn around SL’s finest ballrooms as well as the wedding chapels. Leri Miles Designs is offering a magnificent selection “Eliza” – a softly flowing mesh gown in the dreamiest colors – exclusively for the Hope for Emilia event. It was a very difficult choice, but i settled on the “Kiwi” color combination, and added Chop Zuey’s exclusive and unique Migonette Jewelry Ensemble, and Face Paint’s Smoke Blue makeup to finish the look. The Hope for Emilia designers have really risen to the occasion for this event, providing some truly wonderful opportunities to add fabulous pieces to our wardrobes while providing some genuine relief to our troubled neighbors in Italy. The Hope for Emilia event runs through August 9th.

Each Wednesday Angel Dessous offers a very special ensemble to their group members for a mere $69L! The fun part is that the ensemble is offered as a Black Box with unknown surprise contents. I always race home to open the Box and sometimes discover, as in this weeks Box, a lovely gown complete with hat and gloves, or sometimes a special day dress and sometimes one of Angel Dessous’ incredible lingerie ensembles. I have been buying these boxes since the start of the tradition and each surprise has been very special.The deep rich color of the Madeleine Gown and the detailed floral and lace trim work are typical of the exquisite styling in Angel Dessous offerings. It is always refreshing to discover designers who believes it is important to showcase their best efforts in their group gifts and specials. Thank you Nando and Gina!
